Clarinet/Selmer Bundy clarinet

Question
I have a Selmer Bundy clarinet in decent condition (but not in original case). From info I gathered on-line it may have been produced around 1954. I believe it is wood, it doesn't say resonite. Serial number is 58708. Were these as mass produced as the later Bundy clarinets? What might be the value?

Answer
Hello Karen....Selmer Bundy clarinets are student grade and most are plastic [resonite]...It would not say 'wood/resonite' on the instrument...If still in doubt ,look for tiny wood grains in the instrument...A repairman could immediately tell you if it is would.. There are quite a few of these clarinets on EBAY,with a price range of between $30-$250, depending on condition....Cheers    JACK
