i have a clairinet marked- buffet crampon cie, a paris, made in w.germany , and this number on it 504361.Can you give me any info on this,age,quality,value (in decent shape).What tone.

Hello Doug,
Your clarinet serial number is from the year 2002...It is most likely an E11 which is an  excellent entry level [student]clarinet....They sell on EBAY  from $400-600, but they  can sell for up to $900. new, depending on where purchased....They are possibly the best sounding student clarinets made.....Cheers     JACK
