Question
Mr Webber;

I would like to set up an online store (several actually) The products are not related, therefore Im concerned that it would look like a flea market.

But several sites can get expensive to run - espacially if no money comes in.

The way I see it is there is three ways to go about this (correct me if Im wrong)

1) I go to school and learn how to build an ecommerce website myself.

2) I pay someone else (which I cant afford)

3) sign up with yahoo stores and use a tamplate site. bu they want up front fees, monthly fees and a percentage of sales as well! PLUS, Visa will be taking a cut too.

What is you advise?

best, M/

Answer
If you're confident that your products will produce profitable sales,
then the Yahoo Store may be worth the cost.

If you'd like to start on a budget, or be a little more cautious,
then consider setting up a website that takes orders using
the secure server professional service at formsite.com.
You'll still need to set up a credit card account with a bank.

Also, offer your items on ebay, and link from ebay to your site
to offer more info on your products.

Take a look at this site to see how the forms can work for you:

Hope this helps,
