I feel foolish asking this but----
Using Claris works as a word processor-how do I place a tilde above a letter?

Hi Kim,

If you're trying to do what I think you are...

then try this:

hold option and press 'n'
then type the letter that the umlaut should be above --
e.g. 'a'

It should produce a lower case a with an umlaut above it "ã"
