Do you know what's the maximum weight that a 1928 Ford AA can carry?

I'm sorry but I don't.  I have afriend who just restored one and I can ask him when I get back up in Mich.  He has no e mail.  I bet you could put 2000# in it with no trouble.  I doubt that it was rated that high, but it's a tough old truck.
If I can find out, I will update this answer with the info.
