Question

1939 ford dash/steerin
I can't figure out how to remove the steering wheel on my 1939 Ford Deluxe.  The service manual I bought does not address this.  There is a horn button in the center, and around it is a circular light switch.  I don't see any hidden screws, and neither the horn button or light switch want to pop off.  Can you help?  Thanks, Andrew.

Answer
At the base of the steering box under the hood you will find the headlight switch. Iyt is held on to the steering box with a snap bail spring. Remove the switch and ther should be a nut on a hollow tube that runs down through the column, and then thehrm button and switch control can be removed.
