Question
i have a 1972 corvette 350 small block. i would like to know in what order the wires go on the distributor cap, as if you are sitting in the driver's seat. do you have a diagram? thank you

Answer
Looking down on the distributor, the door to adjust the points should be just to the left of a line drawn through the center of the car. The door should be pointed forward. Number one cylinder should be the first terminal clockwise from the door. Then going clockwise 8-4-3-6-5-7-2. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.  Good luck.
