Question
The transmission when put into drive hesitates for a few seconds before the truck moves. After it is moving the trans shifts and runs fine. There are no strange noises etc.The truck is idling higher than normal.Fluid level is ok. I am not sure of the trans model.C6 probably

Answer
The easiest thing to do is to change the transmission fluid and filter. This has been know to fix this condition. If that does not work it is time to rebuild the transmission with new seals, gaskets, clutches and bands. But try the fluid and filter change first.
