Question
I know that you say this isn't in your area of expertise, but I have a set of locks for a 1937-1942 Ford. I ran across someone that wants to buy them. These locks are a complete set, brand new in the package from Yale. I need to know where I can go to find out what they are worth?

Answer
I had some NOS 1940 ford parts and I sold them on ebay.  Big demand there for new/old parts.  Since you already have a buyer, check out the site (ebay) and see what other parts like that are selling for.  I think you should be able to get $200.00 for the set.  I might be high on that, but you may be very surprized by how many people want things like that on e bay.  If you don't get a good price, then pull it off the auction.  It's easy, take apicture and get it on there and stand back and watch.  I checked a parts cataglog, but they don't have many locks available, and they would be repro's anyway.
Good luck.
