Question
A have a 402 big block in this beast. but i have the org. card quad-jet. i need to know the best way to tune the carb.chock fuel air mix ect. it coughs at me when i hit it from a stop. may also need some timing help. thanks

Answer
The first thing that you need to do in the order of diagnosing the problem is to take a compression test before fiddling with the carburetor or timing. If the compression is off on one or more cylinders nothing that you do to the outside of the engine will help. Get the numbers and let me know then we can decide on the next step.
