Question
I live in Ventura Ca, and i was wondering where could i find a shop to rebuild my original steering box, i've tried to adjust the play using the information from my  manual to no success, so i think rebuild is the next choice, can you reccommend a shop who might like to tackle this, thank you Danny

Answer
Danny, find a chevy car club and join it if you have to, but they would have all the answers on your car.  I am a Model A guy and I don't think our source would rebuild it, but maybe.  Call these guys and see if they know of a place.
Snyder's  888 262 5712
Bratton's  301 253 1929

They are two big sources we use for the Model A.  They should be able to give you a line on your problem.
Search the net for chevy repair places and car clubs and sites.
Good luck
