Question
i have a 1947 ford coup. i think it is a 289 flat head v8 engine does anyone no the firering order?

Answer
Seeing as you do not know the year or size of the engine, this is a difficult one. But we can solve it. There should be some numbers on the cylinder heads cast into the heads. Get these for me if you will. Also the top radiator hoses give us a clue. Do they run from the top center of the heads to the radiator or are they connected to the top front of the heads? Looking forward to hearing from you.
