Question
do you know how to adjust the wiper cables? I just replace my driver side wiper trans with cables no w i need to know how tom adjust them. No one has been able to tell me so fare. The manual said to push in on the shft of the wiper trans and the cables would tighten up. didn't happen. Lost!!!!

Answer
I have no idea how to adjust them.  If you have the manual, it should be clear enough so you can figure it out.  Go to a buick dealer, with the manual and ask them to explain it.  It should be fun seeing what they do.  It's a Buick, so they should at least be interested.  Don't pay them.  I don't think they would expect to be paid for interpretation of their own manual.
If you can find a buick car club, join it and let them help you.  They will have all the answers and be happy to help you.  Find one on the net and ask for their help if you can't find a local club.
Good luck, keep playing around with it, and you just might figure out what the manual is telling you.
