Classic/Antique Car Repair/Fuel Sender Unit O Ring

Question
Can tell how can I obtain or find a fuel sender unit o ring to fit a 1974 Lincoln Mark IV?

Answer
If you know the size, try one of the big hardware stores.  They have a big selection.  Try an auto parts store too.  If all else fails, try a Ford dealer.  You do run the risk that the o ring you get may not stand up to gasoline.  It will swell if not the right material.  I would take the chance anyway.  O rings are pretty standard, you should be able to find one that fits.
Try to find a ford car club and join it.  They will have all the answers and be happy to help you.
Good luck
