Question
i have a 2001 crysler seabring the fuel pump went so i changed it and it still wont start i checked and it is geting spark and fuel can you help

Answer
I am  Model A  (old car) guy, not a modern mechanic.  When I was with Chrysler, we did our first fuel injection system, but if you are really getting fuel and have sark, the computer must be keeping the engine from starting.  Does the pump continue to run?  It should run until the pressure builds up, then the fuel is returned to the tank.  We had safety switches built in so that if there was a leak in the fuel line, the pump would shut off.  This is a modern problem, and I think you need the diagnostic tools to solve it.  It could be the fuel pressure regulator, or jusst something that the computer sees that it does not like.  It will shut you down.
Sorry I can't be of any help.  Better go to a dealer.
