Question
Sir,
I have a 1966 mustang i would like to know how to re-wire
the heater ,radio, dome and courtesy lights. I recently took
the old heater box out to replace the heater coil and the
wireing under the dash looks like a maze, I have had this
car for two years looks like the old owner did some spliceing when he installed an a/c underdash unit.

                           THANK YOU,
                           TOM WARD

Answer
The best that I can do for you is to point you to the following web site. It is a wiring diagram for your car complete with color codes of the wires and where they connect to. http://www.themustangshop.com/resources.cfm If the wiring is so messed up there are several companies that offer replacement wiring harnesses. Check for these by getting your hands on a copy of Hemmings Motor News, the old car classified bible. www.hemmings.com.
