Question
where to fill any repair manuals available

Answer
I can't help you with your '66.  If you can find a ford car club near you or on the net, they will know.  Your ford dealer may have someone who knows this car.  The top mechanisms back then were all alike.  An electric pump, a sump, and cylinders to push the top around. If you can hear the pump run, maybe you just have a leak.  Don't just add fluid,(when you figure out where to add it).  You have to fix the leak if that is the prob.  If you can't hear the pump run, then maybe it is just an open wire or blown fuse.
Good luck. Sorry I can't help you.
