Question
I am wondering what is better, carb vacuum(edelbrock carb) or intake for power brakes.

Answer
It depends on the carburetor that you have. Some have a large vacuum port, about 1/2 inch, at the back of the carburetor that is below the throttle plates. This will work for the power brakes. But my preference would be a large take off the intake manifold. I do not like to have the power brake take vacuum from the same line that feeds the PCV.
