Question
I have a new tumbler for my 1963 Nova and can't get the old one out. I've tried inserting a paper clip into both holes while in the on position and rotating ccw but will not come out. Do you have any ideas? Also, I do not have the old key but, the ignition will still rotate and start the car.

Answer
If I remember right you turn the switch to the accessory side, counterclockwise, and then insert the paper clip. You should feel the spring loaded release. Depress it and turn the switch further counterclockwise and it should release and slide free of the lock barrel.
