Classic/Antique Car Repair/1966 Mustang running issue

Question
I own a 1966 Mustang with a 6 cyclinder, 1 barrel carburator. The issue I am having is that the car will not stay running.  The carburator was just rebuilt and the car had no issues with staying running before the carburator rebuild.  None of the fuel mixture or idle screws were adjusted during the rebuild.  The car is not hard to start but after it stalls and you start it several times it will not start.  Any suggestions on what could be the problem?

Answer
Rebuilding a carburetor entails removing all the adjustable screws and plugs to allow for cleaning the small passages. If the carburetor is disassembled and the air mixture screws are not removed the danger of forcing accidently dirt down into those small restricted passage ways is great. Re do the carburetor making all the adjustments that are listed on the directions that comes with the overhaul kit.
