Question
I have removed headlight knob and shaft to paint the dashboard.  How do I reinstall the shaft and knob back into the switch?

Thanks for any help you can give me.  John

Answer
On the side of the headlight switch opposite the side that the wires attach to there should be a button with a spring under it. Depress the button, hold it and then insert the shaft and knob until is clicks into place and then release the button. It is a two handed plastic man job.
