Question
Dear Jack,
My name is Jacob and I am from American Academy Charter School and I was hoping to ask you a couple of questions on phosphoric acid. My first question i have is if you know if it is comparable to engine degreaser. I was also wondering if you have ever used it for rust removal.

Answer
I have not used it and don't know anything about it.  There are many rust removers that have phosphoric in their name, so you may be on the right track.
Sorry I can't help.  You know, you can just put parts in a bucket of water and the rust will come off after a while.  I have seen it done.
