Question
BRAD:  IS THERE A SIMPLE WAY TO REMOVE THE MASTER CYLINDER
ON THIS 1948 CHRYSLER WINDSOR.  THE MASTER CYLINDER IS MOUNTED ON A SHAFT WITH THE CLUTCH & BRAKE PEDAL, THEN BOLTED TO THE FRAME WITH 3 BOLTS AND THERE IS THERE IS JUST
NO ROOM TO REMOVE THE PIN HOLDING THE PEDALS & CYLINDER.
.

Answer
The job is such a royal pain in the you know what, that we used to overhaul the master cylinder right in the chassis back in the day. The recommended procedure to remove the master cylinder is to remove the floor boards and work from the top. The flat rate time was 3.5 hours to remove and replace the master cylinder. In other words there ain't no easy way round it.
