Question
trying to pull flat head off my 29 model a. just got car have worked on this type of engine in the past, had to pop head loose with comp, of engine. this one wont try to lift.soaked all studs with pb buster for 2 days,  any ideas?

Answer
Yes, I wrote this up some time ago.  You just have to stick with it and worry it off.  I will look for my earlier write up and send it to you.  Get 6 or 8 putty knives and several screw drivers and work the head off. Use some blocks of wood to slip in so you don't pinch a finger.  Another trick is to stuff some soft rope in on top of the piston and turn the crank to force the head up. Take your time and stick with it.  Everyone has this prob.  Good luck and let me know how you make out.
