Question
do i fill the tourque converter?? if so how do i know how much, this converter comes apart in like 6 pieces and is dif than i have ever seen or worked on..we put dextron 111 in and the trans woudlnt do anything so we drained it...

Answer
Model A's don't have torque converters, so I don't know the answer to your question.  I think the oil in the converter communicates with your trans, so filling one, should fill them both.  You probably should fill the converter to start with.  You can't put too much into it.  It will just run back into the trans.
Find a Chevy car club and join it.  They will have all the answers.  I'm sure there is a club near you.
good luck and I sorry I can't help you.  Get a Model A and then I can help you.
