Question
The catalog specifies the oil filter as either an AC-995 or a FRAM P1/2. Do you know the modern equivalent filter please?

Answer
The P 1/2 oil filter also fits Mopar (Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, and Chrysler) 6 cylinder cars of the late 30's through the early 50's. My stock answer for “where can I find….” Is to latch on to a copy of Hemmings Motor News, the old car hobbies classified bible. There are many companies that supply parts for old cars, trucks, and now RV’s and you will find them in Hemmings. www.hemmings.com. Check hemmings for oil filters for the Mopars.
