Question
I have a 53 chevy 210 delux. I want to know how to get the chrome
on the doors (just under the glass) off?

                                  THANKS DICK

Answer
If the car is stock and has not been altered the two end clips for the moulding should have nuts on them accessible from the back side of the door under the weather strip. The rest of the clips should be snap in place that will release with light pressure pulling the chrome away from the panel. The last time that I did the job I used a Teflon kitchen spatula to get between the door and the chrome. A screw driver puts too much pressure in a small area and will damage the chrome.
