Question
i have remove the knob from the headlight switch but i can not remove the knob from the wiperswitch can you help me please?
the vehicle is 1962 chrysler valiant .

I should know that, but I don't remember.  If there is no set screw, and it does not unscrew, then it may be molded on.  Maybe the whole shaft and knob come out as a unit??? I can't help you, but try the Chrysler site.  Someone there should know.  I will look up the site and let you know in a minute.

I just heard from my old switch engineer.  He thinks that there is a release button on the back of the switch that you push and then pull out the knob and stem.  
You probably figured this out already.
