Question
How do you remove the steering wheel from a 1938 Ford pickup?

Answer
Do you have the headlight switch as a ring outside the horn button? If so you need to go to the bottom of the steering column and disconnect the headlight switch from the bottom of the steering box. Then there is  long shaft that runs down through the column that rotates the switch for the lights, and than tube will need to be removed. It comes out fro the top side and once removed gives access to the nut that hold the steering wheel to the steering shaft. You will probably need a steering wheel puller to pop the wheel free.
