complete stock how do i remove the starter
The starter on the old flat head engine is held in by the two through bolts at the end of the starter. You can remove the lead wire from the starter as it is not hot (carrying voltage) until the solenoid is engaged by the starter button. One not, do not take the through bolts out of the starter, just unwind them until the threads are clear. If you remove them then the starter will come apart
