Question
I have searched the internet trying to find the resale value for a 1980 amx spirit. I understand this is a rare car for the year so info is scarce. I was wondering what the average vaule for a 1980 amx actually is.

I use Cars Of particular Interest for average values. The following is their rating:
Year:  1980  
Make:  American Motors  
Model:  Spirit AMX Coupe  
Excellent:  $5,275  
Good:  $2,300  
Fair:  $1,100
These are realistic numbers not inflated numbers for over restored auction cars.
