Classic/Antique Car Repair/1930 Model A

Question
Hi, when I start the car and pull the clutch out put in gear and  it does not move.

Answer
You either have a very bad clutch, a broken axle, or a broken shear key.
With your hand, make sure the clutch pedal is all the way up.

Two:
Start it, put it in gear and let the clutch up. Have someone see if anything is turning at the wheels.  Jack up the rear and do it again to see if anything is moving when you do this.  If you haVE a broken rr axle, a wheel will fall off when you jack it up.  My hope is that you just have a sheared key between the hub and axle.  Could be a really bad transmission too.  I'm sure you will find it and be able to fix it.
