Question
I have rebuilt all door hinges on truck.
no problem installing lower door hinges.
Top hinges will not go in the existing hinge hole with new springs extracted to open, how do you install them so you can
remove them later to paint?
without cutting or bending existing metal hole?  Thank you  Terry Caston

Answer
Hello Terry,

There's a magazine called Auto Restorer which provides hands on help for auto restorers, both amateur and pro. Within the past few months, there was a restoration review article on a 1950 3/4 ton with a cab that should be identical to yours. He also had challenges with the hinges and had some insights on how he repaired his.

Check this article out and perhaps even contact the owner, contact information is provided. I think you'll find your answer.

Best of luck with this great truck!
