Question
I have a 67 Camaro 327..Radio went out and generator light went on. Would this be the alternator ? Thanks
Ok, the most common cause of this is a blown fuse in the fuse panel that is tagged ING or INST. If my guess is correct you might have an aftermarket up dated radio. The installers had a habit of tying into this circuit when doing the radio installation and when that fuse goes out the gen light comes on and the radio goes out.
