Question -
I'm currently starting to restore the interior of my BT7. Can you tell me the correct carpet type to use? Who is a good source for the carpet?

Thank You.

Answer -
Hi Steven,

I would check with Moss Motors http://www.mossmotors.com/ or Victoria British http://www.victoriabritish.com/.

There are others but those are two I have bought from and can recomend.

I hope this helps,

HMF

Answer
I think the carpet was loop pile but I have not worked on Healeys since my dealership days as a line mechanic 32 years ago. I worked on just about every part of Healeys from the 100-4 on to the last 3000 as a mechanic but didn't do any restoration so the only thing I was concerned about carpet was trying not to get greese on it. Moss Motors can tell you exactly what material it was and the available colors back then.
