Question
what goes where? is there a wire besides the ground and hot that conects the battery to something besides the starter. If not how does the generator charge the battery? Because mine doesn't recharge the battery. it will run with the lights on and the battery cable off. do you have a wiring diagram of the battery, generator, and regulator for a plymouth 1948 2 door sedan?

Answer
I need you to answer a few questions for me. First is the wiring in the car as from the factory or has it been altered? With a voltmeter check the voltage at the BATT terminal of the voltage regulator without the engine running and the key on, what is it?
