The original of this song is by Jerry Jeff Walker, recorded four years before Confederate Railroad's version. I have no knowledge of a Travis Tritt version, although several mp3s are mislabeled as such.

No Jerry Jeff Walker originally recorded "Trashy Women" in 1989. Confederate Railroad released it in 1993.

I started in Radio as a small boy. My dad was "Cuz" Ralph Dailey a member of the Famous Rangers Quartet. He was on the Town Hall Party National TV/Radio show, for a number of years, and promoted country shows and concerts in Ore., Calif., and Washington. He worked on Kuzz, Kjoy, KRAK, and other famous Country Radio stations of the past. I grew up in the middle of this country music history. I am a collector of Country music history, records and interviews. Plus I am the host of a Classic Country Radio show called Legends of Country. Legendary stars like Wanda Jackson, Jody Miller, Rod Erickson, Johnny Western, and many others can tell you about my show. All these stars have joined us in concerts here in Washington. /

NEA, Past member of GMA and CMA.

I Have taught Radio for the last 10 years at the Tri - Tech Skills Center in Kennewick, Washington. I have worked as an expert for special recording projects. I have worked as a consultant for radio stations, and music festivals. I was a national Judge of Cowboy Poetry for the AWA 2006 Awards. I have attended numerous national music industry workshops and training sessions.
