I am looking for a movie that was made in 1970. My sister-in-law insists it was her favorite movie when she was younger but does not know the title or actors. All she remembers is it was about an ice skater who fell in love with a hockey player. It is not the newer movie that was made in the 80's or 90's. She insist it was in the 70's. I would like to surprise her with it. Do you have any clues as to what she is talking about?

Ice Castles, starring Robby Benson and Lynn-Holly Johnson, was made in 1978, and that's the only movie I can think of that fits that description. Here's the Internet Movie Database page on it:
