Im looking for the title of a movie that is from the 80's. Sorry thats as close as I can get. I would say its a horror movie. Anyway these army reserve people go out in the woods riding in the back of some army truck. One guy bets another guy that he can outrun the truck on foot. He jumps out and beats the truck running I believe. The only other scene I remember is they start digging and raise some ghostly spirits I believe from the civil war. Thats all I remember. I sure could use your help. Been looking for years. Thanks

That sounds a bit like a 1986 movie called "The Supernaturals", which starred Maxwell Caulfield and Nichelle Nichols.

STORY OUTLINE: An army sergeant leads her platoon into the woods of the deep south on a training exercise. Unfortunately, they camp on the site where a bunch of yankee soldiers murdered a town of confederates during the Civil War. The corpses of the dead soldiers rise up to wreak revenge.
