Hello Mel,Sometime in the 1980 to 1990 range i saw a movie about a boy growing into a man who had 3 guardian angels to protect him. I recall that they rode on top of the car or bus he was in. Definitely VHS era, cant recall the name. Thanks for any help you can give.

That sounds like the 1993 film "Heart And Souls", which starred Robert Downey Jr., Charles Grodin, Alfre Woodard, Kyra Sedgwick, Tom Sizemore and Elisabeth Shue.

STORY OUTLINE: The story of four souls who needed a body and one guy who needed some soul: Harrison, Penny, Julia, and Milo all have unfinished business in this life. Unfortunately they find themselves on board a city bus that has a crash, causing their early deaths. At the same time, Thomas is born and the spirits of the unfortunate four are intertwined with Thomas' consiousness. When the four discover that, as Thomas reaches manhood, they are to use him to finish their business here on earth, they learn too of what was really important to each one of them, and Thomas learns a lesson too.
