Question
Who took the female lead opposite Roger Moore in the movie The Nun. I saw this movie so many years ago and would love to know. Can you help?

Answer
Hello Quanita,

If you are referring to the 1959 film with the following storyline......

"During the Napoleonic era, in Spain, a young postulant, Teresa, falls in love with a handsome British soldier who is recovering with others of his regiment after being wounded. Before leaving, he asks her to leave the convent and marry him. The postulant, devoted to the statue of the Virgin Mary, asks her for a heavenly sign and leaves when nothing happens. Then the statue of the Virgin descends from its pedestal and secretly takes Teresa's place at the convent."

The postulant nun was played by Carroll Baker and the film was actually called "The Miracle".
