This may not be in your expertise, not quite sure where this movie fits. Here goes.This is driving me crazy. I watched this movie maybe 30 years ago. It was on tv many times, maybe an older movie. I remember  that a ship sank with many people on it. Somehow, it sank in the right position and most all survived. They created their own oxygen, grew their food, including fish. I think there was one captain who ruled all. It was years later, that somehow they were found. Not everyone wanted to go, having spent most of their lives on the ship. They decided to stay. In the end some were rescued and others stayed and the boat
exploded at some point in the end.
