i'm trying to find out where i can possibly purchase a movie that is black and white, not sure if it's a classic, but i have a friend that loves black and white movies and it would be a christmas gift... she has told me several times that she likes the actress Ann Sheridan... so i'm looking for black and white movies that she stared in or made... thank you... also if you can recommend places i could purchase black and white movies.

Sorry for the delay, but I've been travelling in London, and just came across your question.Ann Sheridan was a big Warner Bros. Studios star, mostly in the 40's and 50's,  so her films would
be way over 50 years old.

She made Many films in the 40's, and All were pretty good ones. I recall a few,....the Classic,"Kings Row"(which also starred Ronald Reagan); "Shine On Harvest Moon";...."George Washington Slept Here" (a comedy with Jack Benny);...."The Man Who Came To Dinner";..."I Was A Male War Bride"(with Cary Grant),...and on and on.

Your best bet would be to go to  www.amazon.com, and type in her name, and a bunch of her films available on VHS and DVD should come up.   Or, for a list of ALL her films, go to www.google.com.
