Question
I have a scene in  my head, a white actor goes down into the belly of a ship and there witnesses black tap dancing. I can't recall the actors nor the name of the movie.

Answer
Hi Ken,

Yes, I certainly Do know that film.  I'm a Musical film "buff", and especially love all the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers musicals of the 1930's.

That particular scene is a classic musical number in RKO Studio's 1937 musical,  "Shall We Dance?",  with songs composed by none other than
the legendary George Gershwin.

In the film, Fred, who's on a cruise ship pursuing Ginger, goes below deck, and joins in the singing and dancing of the crew, to the rhythm of the
steam and machinery.

The film is available on both VHS and DVD.  (Check out:  www.amazon.com )

And if you'd like to watch the number, go to:  http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xmq0u_slap-that-bass-fred-astaire_music
