Question
Hi Jim,My father was in a film as an extra around 1935 at Shepperton Studios, I remember when i was young he mentioned the name "HOLIDAY CAMP", Also around that time he said he was in a film with Liz Taylor or John Mills, or both, and played a porter on a railway station.
Hope you can help in someway Jim.  Kind regards Michael.

Answer
Hi Michael,

Thanks for your question.  I haven't been able to find any film that both Liz Taylor AND  John Mills made together.  I imagine, however, that Mills probably did a film or two for the Shepperton Studios.  (There IS a book on the Studio, available at Amazon.com.)
Perhaps if you could recall a bit of the stoylines of any of the films, I might be able to come up with something.

Also, there was a British film called "Holiday Camp" made at the Gainesborough Studios in
1947.  (See a review at:

Hope this helps a bit.
