Question
I am trying to recall the title of a film set in the 30s, 40s or 50s.  It focuses on a group of women who worked in a bank in the midwest. they repeatedly got passed over for promotions by younger men who they often had to train.  They ended up striking, getting union recognition, but never getting the justice they fought so hard for.  any recollection of this film.  I believe it was in black and white, but not positive...thank you, jennifer

Answer
Hi Jennifer,

Although it's taken me a little while to research your film for you,...I think I may have found what you're looking for.
At first, I thought the film sounded a bit like "Norma Rae" (with Sally Field") ,...but then I came upon "The Willmart 8", a documentary,  directed by actress Lee Grant.  Hope this is what you
wanted.
For more information, go to:  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0229847   (and also check out the title on Google.com.
