Question
I am keen to find the title of a movie made/set in the UK - drama, with a dark woman who turned out to be a man in a surprise scene near the end. I think the "transvestite" was an actor with first name Jay? Long shot I know. Thanks in advance.

I think you may be referring to 1992's "The Crying Game", which starred Forest Whitaker, Miranda Richardson, Stephen Rea, and Jaye Davidson as the transvestite.
