About Juli D.
Expertise
I can answer almost any question relating to any of the Marx Brothers or their films. Their personal lives were, I believe, twice as interesting as their professional personas.

Experience
I have read many books on the subject including the memoirs of the two most famous Marx Brothers, Groucho and Harpo as well as "Growing up with Chico" the only book written expressly about Chico Marx. Also, I have done exstensive research on all of the brothers, my senior paper being on the subject of their lives.

Publications
The International Library Of Poetry's Anthology series. (I have three poems published)

Awards and Honors
The International Library Of Poetry's Editor's Choice Award.

Question
Hi Juli,
I saw your response to the film.Do you know why this film is so hard to come by? ie.DVD PURCHASE,RENTAL. I have found a Italian version on e-bay but its not what I want. I can'nt seem to find it anywhere.
I was a mere child when I first so it as well. Thank you for your help on this

Answer
Good day, Steve!
Unfortunately, in this age of multi-billion dollar blockbusters, great older films often go unappreciated and are eventually lost in the shuffle. When a company doesn't think that they can make much money off of the release of a DVD, they won't release it or will release it temporarily and in a limited number.
(I googled DVD + Wind Across The Everglades and found an copy on ioffer.com but I do not endorse this since I didn't check into it very carefully and couldn't promise that it is not pirated.)
My best (legal) suggestions are to email tcm.com and request that they air this movie. (Their website has this option.) OR find out if the production company has a web site and see if they have any plans of releasing it.
I'm sorry that I could not have been of more help, but I sincerely hope that you will be able to find a copy of this film.
If there's anything else that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to let me know.
                               Cheers!
                                              ~J.
