Question
i need the name of a movie probably from the 50's. It is about a negro woman who played the maid to this white family she had a child but the family she worked for classed her as their own. The child thought she was white and had no idea the maid was her real mother until much later she rebelled and it wasn't until her mother died that she came around and it was too late.I remember the daughter throwing herself on the coffin when it was in the hearst.I hope you can help..
