Old movie likely 40's or 50's, had arabian type guy on a quest, he has to fight a skeleton and eventually gets a blue rose. the rose allows him to have wishes granted and with the rose he forms an army to fight off bad ruler-----I thought it was called the Blue rose ----

Hi Lorn,

I'm really not certain about the film you're looking for.   The only one I can come up with is 1961's "The Thief of Bagdad" starring Steve Reeves.
In it , he must find the blue rose to save the life of a princess.   I'm pretty sure there wasn't a fight with a skeleton in it.  ( The film that had the skeleton fight was "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.)       See the full synopsis at :   http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title.jsp?stid=92868
